Bollywood is so into commercial movies that it totally ignores non-commercial movies resulting the outcome where people do not notice the non-commercial types. Due to high publicity the commercial Films earn more in the opening show even it is not worth it; But a non-commercial films which is way better than the commercial films earn less in comparison. This is the case with the movie Thanks Maa too. By now it is clear that it is a non-commercial movie. It ran only a week or 2 in the multiplexes in Mumbai. According to me this particular movie is worth a lot. It talks about the topic 'Child Abandonment'. These kind of cases are found highly in the country like India. It is about a 12 year old Mumbai street kid who finds a 2 month old baby being abandoned by a women. To not let the baby have the fate that he had. He starts a journey to find the mother of that baby just to discover disturbing truths. The One thing truly noticeable is that every little stories of crime which appears in the 2nd and 3rd page of newspaper and disappears from readers mind eventually is considered and projected. You actually stop and think 'Yes these crimes should be stopped'. The language that Mumbai street kids pick up is used in dialogues boldly. This is a type of movie which shakes u up 4m inside with its closeness to reality. So guys even if u haven't heard of this movie or knew it but have missed it make it a point to watch it without fail.

Julie & julia is a book written by Julie Powell which is made into a movie. I havent reaad the book but for me the movie works wonders. It is about the life of two women as said before. They are in different era but both have a common thing in- Love for cooking. The movie talks about obsession. Julia obsessed by cooking and Julie obsessed by Julia. Julia in 1949 is finding a way to publish her recepie. With all the hardship the book gets published named as 'Mastering the Art of French cooking' and is a great success. Now in 2002 Julie sets a task for herself which is cooking all 524 recepies in Julia Child's book in 365 days and posting the experience in the blog, determind to complete it she risks her marriage n her work but is one famous women One thing you find the most in the movie is verity of dishes. So I have tagged the movie as 'mouth watering movie'. It has two eras in it 1949 and 2002. Difference can be made out in the scene which shows the features of the respective year. In the art of direction, in the make of artists etc every thing is perfectly done according to the requirements of that year. On the mention of artist both Meryl and Amy have done a good piece of acting. So guys go watch the movie it will definitely hold your interest.

Very 1st Post

A graduate. Passionate to work in a print media or any media field, but have been failed to achieve a job. So for now these days after I have been graduated it has been four months and I do nothing sitting at home. Literally nothing. Well other than helping mom in household work which I am not much passionate about. Sort of starting to feel frustrted to just sit inside the four walls and nothing much to do, no goal, just get up evry single day and do the same basic activity ____ Eat, Drink nd Sleep.
But all of a sudden something clicked my mind, for me to get a task to do in the - The idle day. I am a movie freak and watch a lot of movies. if you would beleive, my 500 GB hard disk of my PC has 350 GB is filled with movies and have an external hard disk of 150 GB full of movies. Might be not a big deal but that is the thing that saves me in these complete useless days of mine. To add two things:- 1] I get greatly influenced by movies and 2] every movie has a great impact on me. Oops same right LOL. So in these collection of movies I came across a movie named Julie & Julia. It is about two women saperated by time, but have or find same interest in cooking. One to kill free time and another to have a goal in life which she would complete the task which she has set up for herself. Now I am the third women [well i had to relate in writing, I am still a girl tough :p] for now who has both characters in me. Wanting to kill time and a person who doesnot reach end whatever task she takes up.
So i have set up a task for myself to do. In this space of internet I will give a count of how many movies I have watched inhow many number of days. Plus how the movie is for people who are out there who are movie freaks like me or who would want to watch a movie in their free time and can not decide which one to watch.
Now as this concept occurred to me after watching Julie & Julia, so I would start with it. N u guys are free to comment on my post of what u think about the movie or any thing for that matter.....
