F*R*I*E*N*D*S

Day before yesterday was The Day for Friends and their Friendship. Kudos! To all my friends out there. Happy Friendship’s Day and week.
I just sat down with a paper and a pen to post something about friendship and a relating movie in my blog. Thoughts came flushing into my head giving ideas of what to add and what to write, but I was confused where to start and how to start. So I went down to the memories of friendship of schooling, Jr College and Sr College days.
In my school days if not for my friends, wouldn’t I be all alone to do all those childish masti in the class which would get us out and make us stand outside the door punished? Or wouldn’t I be the only one standing in front of the Principle, who is shouting for our mistakes, giving a hushed giggle? (gosh we were so shameless). Or wouldn’t I be the only one completing the notes in the last minute of submission? These moments are embarrassing and stressful during school days but it was lot of fun and simple due to my friends. Now at present I laugh at those incidents when I remember it.
After schooling, I joined junior college. It was a new atmosphere and I met more friends. More friends mean more fun. If I had not made friends and I hadn’t a group, wouldn’t I miss all those love triangles or love complications within the group? ‘Oh! I like this guy, but he likes sum other girl and is not sure if she likes him or not?!’ (Oh man ‘Infatuation’. LoL) Wouldn’t I miss all those teasing ‘a boy’ and ‘a girl’ stuff for fun? Would it be so much fun to break all those disciplines and rules of Jr. College? (I still remember the dress code given to the students, no jeans, but we would break it in one way or the other). Would I get to laugh on those stupid pjs cracked by my stupid friends?
The most enjoying part of my road of friendship was my sr college days. Yet another place, different atmosphere and many more friends added to my list. If not for those friends would that girl’s night stay be that crazy with all maar dala stuffs done? (Right girls?) Wouldn’t I be standing alone in the campus scanning for hot/ cute/ smart boys? Would that eating dabbas and playing crazy legs/ current-current which led to awkward position be fun? Would I get to dance like one crazy girl during jam sessions and Dj nights? Would I get down at every station to click photos with the train and the station and board the train after it started. Wouldn’t that journey be tiring?
Spare me with all those wouldn’t and woulds mentioned above all those were important to mention because I want to thank all my friends who are associated with it. Now that this blog belongs to movies let me get to that part. The only movie which comes to my mind is DCH… You were thinking of the same movie, weren’t you?

Movie: Dil Chahata Hai
Starring: Amir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna, Preity Zinta
Director: Farhan Aktar.

This movie is all about true friendship between three guys who are totally opposite from each other nature wise. “Ya toh yeh dosti gehri hai, ya yeh photo 3D hai.” As said by Sameer (Saif Ali Khan) in the movie. This is a movie that no youngster or a teenage kid would mind watching a hundred times. So I don’t have to go in much detail about it. Well I don’t know how many of you readers will agree with me but after watching this movie I feel a strong urge to grab my friends and just start off a journey to go to Goa. It’s not just because the movie shows Goa as one of the most beautiful places in its scene (which undoubtedly it is), but because of those three friends having fun on the trip and all the fun stuff they did together there. Well I know at this stage me and any of my friends can’t afford to do that, but still I have a desire that someday there will be a plan being made… let’s see. But this movie is a delight to watch. One of my favorite movies. I simply love it. This time would be my 84th time to watch this movie. 1st four times were in the theater, rest DVD.
Aakash: You know what? Hume har saal ek hufte ke liye toh Goa aana cahiye.
Sameer: Definitely! Kyun sid? Kya soch raha hai?
Sid: Dekh raha hoon who jahaz ko jo thodi der baad dikhai nahi degi. Jante ho hum us jahaz jaise hai. Aaj nahi toh kal apni manzil ko dhundte nikal jayenge. Aur ho sakta hai apni manzile alag alag ho. Kabhi soacha hai! Har saal Goa aana toh ek taraf dus saal mein ek baar milna mushkil hai.
Aakash: Aisa kuch nahi hoga sid, hum dost the, dost hai, aur rahenge. Humaesha.

Best scene and best dialogue in the movie. It touches my heart deep within. Well I can only give praises to this movie because as I said before I simply LOVE it. I dedicate it to all my friends who have made my school life, Jr. College and Sr. college life a smooth and fun journey. I Have a thought guys… let’s catch up and watch this movie together. What say? Even the other readers- watch it with your friends.

Keep in touch……and will be Friends Forever. Chiao.
